Marvin is back this week with a spin on a Mexican dish he first tried at South of the Border. Yes, Pedro of South of the Border fame gave Marvin this recipe. Pedro calls it an Empanada, but Marvin prefers to call it a Deep Fried Chicken Pot Pie. No matter what you decide to call it, it is a recipe you will want to make to impress your friends & family.  Make sure you tell them Marvin from The Marvin Show passed the recipe along!

Scallop Eggrolls | The Marvin Show

The Marvin Show is a cooking show where Marvin Latimer of Big Brother 5 fame, cooks a meal for four for less than $20 in twenty-five minutes or less.  Marvin is like that crazy uncle we all have that can cook anything, and gets really creative when he runs out of an ingredient.  This week instead of shrimp, Marvin will be using scallops in his eggrolls.

Chicken Foot Gang Signs? The Marvin Show

Marvin may have been drinking a little too much “Orange Goose” this week, because he swears that he saw a yard bird flashing gang signs at him.  He also thinks the greeter at Wal-Mart looks like Paula Deen’s grandma.

This week, Marvin will be making Generals Chinese Chicken Feet! This has never been tried before in the history of mankind, so tune in to watch Marvin make it all happen in 25 minutes or less!

There’s all kinds of ways to cook shrimp! The Marvin Show

Marvin was flipping channels on the tv late one night & he came across not only one of his favorite movies but also one of his favorite scenes from that movie:     FORREST GUMP

Bubba:  “There’s all kinds of ways to cook shrimp…….”

And that got Marvin thinking. “You know, there IS all kinds of ways to cook shrimp!”  So this week on The Marvin Show, Marvin will be cooking BBQ shrimp, lowcountry boil shrimp & Cajun shrimp patties. If he has enough time left, he might even make a shrimp cocktail!

Deep Fried Crab Stuffed Pork Chops

Marvin called in a few favors this week for his menu items.  The pork chops came from a wild pig he caught on the 10th hole of BlackMoor Golf Club & the crab stuffing is leftover from a fried crab sandwich from Singleton’s Grocery store in Conway.

Yes, Marvin has once again managed to take a part from a pig & deep fry it. Sounds like a great dish!
